La playita

This  nightclub is  a place where the good atmosphere diversions  never fail.  La playita has a  delicious snacks and beers.  Is located to 500 meters from the Fuerte de Bacalar  and the  best is that there isn't charge for access, come and visit Friday to Sunday starting from 11 pm until the body holds.

Laguna de Bacalar

The Bacalar Lagoon is popularly known as the Lagoon of Seven Colors because we can distinguish seven different shades of blue from the water as it is formed by seven different cenotes, whose waters overflowed and constituting a single pond, its shape is narrow and long, with 42 km long and only 2 km at its widest point. The lake gets its name from being located on its shores Bacalar City, the oldest town of Quintana Roo, in turn comes from the name of this Bakhalal Maya, meaning "surrounded by reeds" was later re-founded by settlers Spanish, that to defend British pirates and rebels Mayan groups built Fort San Felipe, which is now a tourist attraction.

Plaza principal

It is located in the upper part of Bacalar, next to the fort of San Felipe, Central Park features a gazebo and landscaped gardens, this square is the meeting point for all residents and official location for installing the fair Bacalar.

Fuerte de San Felipe

With over 270 years old, Fort San Felipe provides visitors a rich panorama of the history of Bacalar and surrounding regions, from the pre-Hispanic period to the Caste War. Located on the east side of the center of Bacalar, this beautiful stone fort is surrounded by a "moat" deep which also includes walls with cannons a fantastic museum with historical artifacts, murals depicting the history of Bacalar and interactive computers that show the history of the Caste War and the Pirates (as they were and lived). The entry fee is $ 59.80 pesos for foreigners, adults $ 25.12 Mexican pesos, children, students and teachers only $ 12.56 pesos. On Sunday admission is free for Quintanarooenses. Open daily - except Monday - 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 pm.
